WETT RUGBY CUP 2012 international tournament takes place on June 14-15, 2012, in Tallinn, Estonia. The pool games between the 16 international teams will be held on Pirita beach, whereas the finalists compete at Vabaduse Square, which will be turned into a beach rugby pitch with 500 tons of sand.
The goals of WETT RUGBY CUP 2012 are the continuation of a long-standing tradition of rugby tournaments, popularizing the yet little-known sports to Estonian people, supporting the local team and expanding the fan base, and uniting different communities by providing an exhilarating mix of sports and entertainment. The anthem of WETT RUGBY CUP 2012 is “Hakka pihta” by Genka and A-Rühm, which talks about tough men just like rugby players. The music video has just been recorded in Eastern Estonia and will be presented on Vabaduse Square along with a live performance.
